Cookie Policy

Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Callilio ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and web application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

We use a four-category consent model aligned with GDPR Article 7 and EDPB guidance: strictly necessary, analytics, marketing, and preferences. Optional categories are off by default until you opt in.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences. We also use local storage for consent records and similar client-side persistence.

Cookie categories

Our consent banner and settings modal expose exactly four categories. These match the runtime consent state stored under the key callilio_cookie_consent_v1.

Strictly necessary
Session authentication, security tokens, load balancing, language selection, and billing gate cookies. These are always active because the service cannot function without them.
Analytics
Aggregated, pseudonymous usage metrics (for example page views, feature adoption, error rates). We do not use analytics cookies to build individual profiles for advertising.
Marketing
Campaign attribution, conversion measurement, and optional retargeting pixels. Only loaded after explicit consent. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Preferences
Non-essential UX persistence such as theme, layout density, and dismissed onboarding hints. Off by default.

Cookies and similar technologies we use

The table below lists what we actually set or load, and who receives it. Optional items load only after you allow the matching category.

How we use cookies

  • Keep you signed in and secure your session.
  • Remember your cookie consent choices and consent version.
  • Measure product performance and diagnose bugs when you allow analytics.
  • Attribute marketing campaigns when you allow marketing cookies.
  • Restore UI preferences when you allow preference cookies.

Your choices

On your first visit you can Accept all, Reject all, or Customize your preferences. You may change your choice at any time via the cookie settings control shown after consent. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to Callilio.

1

Withdraw consent: Open cookie settings and toggle categories off, then save. We will stop setting non-essential cookies on subsequent visits.

2

Browser controls: You can delete cookies via your browser settings. Note that clearing strictly necessary cookies may sign you out.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can reopen the cookie preferences dialog at any time — on our website via the “Cookie settings” control in the footer, and when signed in to the app under Settings → Profile. Change any category and save. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Changes take effect immediately for anything we have not yet loaded; scripts already running in the current tab stop at your next page load.
